Chat with last year’s “Critics’ Choice Award” winner Jessie J about how her year has been since winning the award and about the influence and importance of BRIT School in her life and career.

The first of two performances of the night came from Emeli Sandé who sang her next single, the soulful “Next To Me.”.

But who will join Emeli Sande and Blur and become a proud owner of one?

Lost inside the music of Katie Cole!

Katie Cole is an LA Based Australian singer songwriter who has been on my radar for around three years now.  Hailing from Melbourne, Katie has only recently set up camp
in Los Angeles.  It's here that she has immersed herself in the LA singer songwriter scene and has played many gigs and Koffeehouse events over the years.
 
Having established herself as a credible artist on the circuit, Katie set about writing and recording her debut EP, "Lost Inside A Moment."  Not only is Katie a gifted singer, she
is also a talented musician, playing the guitar and the piano with passion and skill.
 
"Lost Inside A Moment" showcases 5 equally solid tracks each packing a punch as much as the last.  Katie writes and performs with a vibrant flair and her lyrics are bright and hopeful. 

With an abundance of guitar strumming her sound is upbeat and packed full of pop sensibility yet I am pleased to say that production does not steal away
the magic of her singer songwriter roots.
 
With the support of BBC Radio 2, who featured her singles "Lost Inside A Moment" and "Sunrise" on their playlists, Katie is now starting to break out
in the U.K.
 
Katie is currently back in Los Angeles working on her next EP.  She is hoping to make a trip across the Pond to London this Spring.  Exciting times!
